Membership is free and we welcome you to join AirsoftForum.com but it is necessary that you follow our rules. Additionally you must maintain a working email address at all times or your account may end up getting deleted if mail is returned or bounced back to us.

On the registration screen you will be asked to complete a short form and verify your email address. One of the biggest problems we have is that new members do not provide a working email address and then wonder why they cannot post on the board or why their account was deleted.

Therefore, please be sure to use a working email address as you will be required to "Validate it" before you can post messages anywhere except the New Members & Guest Area. Accounts that later show up as having a broken email address will eventually get deleted if we have no ther way to contact you, so make sure yours works if you wish to remain a member.

We don't abuse your email, we never give it out or send you Spam so you have nothing to worry about. Once you validate your email address, you will be wise to first spend some time reading the pinned topics ('sticky topics' as they are sometimes called) before you post anything so that other members don't harass you for asking silly questions (such as, 'is this a good gun? or what gun should I get?'). Most of these redundant questions have been asked repeatedly so if you want to look cool - use the ASF search tool in the upper right corner of the forums and read through the "Pinned Topics" before asking a silly question.

In fact, its a good idea to look through several areas of the board and familiarize yourself with its layout so you can know where everything is. You will want to spend some time in "General Area" before posting. If you're not sure about something or can't figure something out, ask any question in the "New Members & Guests" area as that is a little more relaxed on the 'Newbies".

Once you understand where everything is, know how to use the search function and have spent some time learning AirsoftForum.com (ASF), feel free to post away.

And now for the legal stuff..

The following terms apply to this entire website (including our online store). This agreement must be read and agreed to before any purchase can be made. AirsoftForum.com, is herein referred to as “ASF”, “us”, “we”, “our” and is an Airsoft discussion board, retail Airsoft store, Airsoft Chat Rooom and community of responsible Airsoft users. The administrator of our online retail store is a dealer of replica guns that resemble real firearms (also known here as Airsoft guns), and we comply with current Federal and State legislation.  We sell only the highest quality items possible and do not in any manner intend to create confusion or sell inferior goods by using any firearm manufacturer’s established trademarked logos. In order to purchase an Airsoft product from us, you must agree to these Terms of Service (TOS).

Airsoft guns are NOT toys and are not intended or designed for children. Airsoft guns are to be purchased and used by adults 18 years of age or older. Minors MUST have parental supervision when operating these 'Air Guns'.  Although our discussion board is a “PG-13 website”, you must be 18 years of age to purchase an Airsoft item from us.  Under no circumstance will AirsoftForum.com knowingly sell to minors, so please don’t ask us to do so.  Not only must the purchaser of any product from our store be at least 18 years of age, but he or she must also be responsible to ensure that no local, State or Federal law(s) (governing the use of the products), restrict their use or sale of said product in his or her jurisdiction. The purchaser must also agree to take responsibility to know if there is any law that prohibits owning or purchasing Airsoft related items in his/her respective location.  In other words, you are responsible for your own actions and are required to understand City, State and Federal laws that pertain to you and your area.

Even though Airsoft guns are not real firearms, they look very much like a real gun and under Federal Law, any "look a like", toy, or BB gun used in a crime will be punishable as if you had used an actual firearm or “real weapon” in said crime. These products should be considered as dangerous as real loaded firearms.

All Airsoft replica guns come with an orange painted muzzle or orange plastic muzzle-tip to safely identify it as a non-firearm. The orange marking on Airsoft guns is a Federal Requirement and all reputable Airsoft manufacturers and dealers must be in compliance with this ruling for legal use. All Airsoft products, foreign or domestic, must meet this regulation (removal of the tip may also void all Warranties and Refunds).  Trademarks on the items that we stock have been altered to meet or exceed Federal law and are in full compliance with this requirement. We have done so in a manor so as to not destroy the gun’s appearance, but please do not ask us to ship your item unaltered or with trademarks in tact, instead check your item on its arrival to confirm that we are in compliance with this trademark requirement.

One advantage to purchasing from us (a United States based retailer) as opposed to an “over-seas” dealer is that we are fully compliant with Federal Law regarding the orange tip and trademark restrictions and thus you never run a risk of having your Airsoft item being “held up in Customs” as you might with an order from a store in another country such as Hong Kong or China.

All disputes arising from the buyer’s decision to purchase from our online store shall be resolved exclusively by the owner and operator of the AirsoftForum.com online store – not the members, moderators or super-moderators. If you have any questions or comments, please contact an Administrator.  If you do not agree to allow us to resolve your problem (if one should arise) and also allow us to have the final decision with any dispute, then please do not purchase from our store.

Any alteration or modification of a product may violate State and/or Federal law and will void any and all warranties. By making a purchase from our store, you agree that you have read and understood these terms and also agree to hold harmless AirsoftForum.com and forgo any and all legal action arising from your use or purchase of these Airsoft products.

If you are ever approached by law enforcement officers while in possession of an Airsoft item, DO EXACTLY what they say and PAY ATTENTION, your life may depend on it!  For your safety, ALWAYS wear eye protection when operating an Airsoft replica, pellet, or BB gun and always treat Airsoft guns with the same respect as with a real firearm. NEVER point or shoot at animals or children and only handle Airsoft replicas with respect and in accordance with all established rules and requirements that pertain to you. It is the user's responsibility to use common sense and safe Airsoft handling practices. People have lost blood, teeth, eyes and other body parts as well as even died from not following these simple common sense rules. Understand that neither Airsoftforum.com, its members, its operators nor its contributors can be held responsible or liable for your actions. By viewing, contributing or making a purchase from this website, you agree to all of these terms and conditions or you are asked to leave now.

With regards to our entire website, if you or your IP Address is found or logged with hacking attempts, pornography or spam advertisements being posted or uploaded you will get you banned immediately and we may also contact your ISP depending on the severity of the infraction. You should also know that there is no profanity, vulgarity, racist, or abusive language tolerated, this is a PG-13 website.
