  1. That wouldn't work too well. First of all, the gun doesn't create heat like our bodies do, so it can't warm up. The only thing that would do is keep it warm for a minute or two, then the cloth will be cold, and will not do anything.
  2. It really depends on what type of gun you are using. A mostly plastic spring gun can shrink just enough in the cold to make it not function, and it makes the plastic more brittle. A gas gun just doesn't perform as well as it should. An AEG should be okay as long as you don't slip on ice and fall and break it or something. Again, if your AEG has a lot of plastic it can shrink or become brittle, so just be careful and you should be okay.
  3. Thanks so much dude. It's awesome, I love it. Of course I'm giving you credit underneath it :)
  4. I don't nescisarily want a SPR sig, I just liked that picture. If possible I would like a Mosin Nagant, but I don't know if that would look right in a WWII sig. But whatever you think would look good. Any sig is a good sig, lol. Thanks.
  5. I have the KWA Mac 11, and well, there is some truth behind the bb's ejecting out of the side. But I've put so many bb's thru it I would expect for many other things to go wrong that haven't. It rarely does it either. I wouldn't say it's crap, it's very durable and reliable, except for the occasional misfire/jam. If you keep it lubed it almost never happens. If you want to know anything else about it just ask. I don't really use it for skirmishes either, more of a cool plinking gun.
  6. If any way possible, I would really like maybe some of this picture to be in it. Thanks EDIT: Actully, if you could really just derive a sig from that picture I would like it. Thanks again.
  7. Yeah... I kind of figure I should get a sig after all these years. Of course I wouldn't have a clue how to do that, so I was hoping someone could make me one. I'm not asking for anything fancy, but I really want it to include a Mosin Nagant and an SKS somehow. Just some other stuff, I like the colors green/black/red. Maybe some 7.62x54r cartirdges and some 7.62x39mm...just some ideas. You can take your time, I've gone pretty darn long without a sig, I don't think I'll die if I wait, lol. If someone wants to help me out, thanks.
  8. I don't know if that kid just had a mindset that stuff from wal mart is garbage, or if they really are bad. You could just show him some of you "New good bb's" (which are the wal mart ones not in the package) And see what he has to say. Or just carefully examine a select few of them and really make sure they are okay. That's about all I know about what to do, maybe some other members will have some suggestions.
  9. Well it depends on how bad the bb's are. If they are obviously terrible pieces of crap, it's most likely going to tear your barrel up quicky. If you can sort of see imperfections, there's a greater chance of it jamming, which damages it every time. If you are really worried about them, I would go ahead and start ordering again.
  10. I don't want to start an argument, but don't say something is bad becuase it's from Wal Mart. Just because my brother bought his Remington 11-87 from Wal Mart recently, does it make it a cheaper version now? No. It's still the same thing he could have gotten anywhere else, only it didn't cost as much. I'm not saying Wal Mart bb's are good, but don't jump to a stupid conclusion like that. Wal Mart is a distributer, not a manufactuer. If they work I don't see why you wouldn't use them. EDIT: I forgot to add that the reason a cheap bb will damage your gun is because it has slight imperfections that will slowly mishape things, or flat out break them. Or there could be extra pieces of plastic that are not bb's that could jam/break your gun.
  11. Alright, I kind of figured it was like that. Thanks.
  12. I'm suprised someone actully knew the reason a real steel loses fps. It's so hard to explain to most people.
  13. Just a quick question. When you are a mod, is there a particular topic you should moniter more frequently than another? I ask this becuase the topic I am most interested in is the real steel fireams, as well as knowing more about them than airsoft. This would almost seem inappropraite though considering I am only 16 years old. I'm not a complete idiot when it comes to airsoft, but I think you know what I mean. I don't know if that would be a bad thing or what. Regardless, I'm interested in the mod positon and I'll do whatever you need me to do, I just need to know what that is when the time comes. Whether I'm a mod or not, I still am just as interested in this forum, I would just like to give a little something back after all these years. Yep. Thanks.
  14. I'm not really sure about airsoft, but real steel a longer barrel can increase the fps. But there's a limit, too short will slow it and too long will slow also...there's a middle ground. This works on the concept of the expanding gases, so I'm not sure if it would help in airsoft. But I would definitly say it would help accuracy, but only to a point, without rifling and a conical bullet it might not help. The longer barrel wouldn't get it spinning or anything, so I don't know if that would help actully.
  15. Yeah I'm charter...and I'm pretty sure it wasn't me considering I haven't been on for a while. So I don't know what this person did or anything but I would help if I knew.
