  1. I'm looking for somewhere to play casually with a small group of friends as close to home as possible. is there any place in lake or kenosha counties that we could just show up and play against each other?

    Rofl Copter

your roflecopters will be useless after I hit your airbase with a ttylnuke, its over 9000kilotons
  3. sorry, but you are stuck using gas if you buy a gas gun. which isn't really all that bad, get a propane adapter. spring guns offer very few advantages over gas, (winter usage and you only have to buy bbs, but gas isn't that bad if you buy propane)
  4. okay, first off, the question should be something more like "How many micro-farads would you recommend for an aug? [subtitle] Where could I place capacitors and a Mosfet" (sorry, too much grammarnazi in me) but yeah, you really don't need much for a mosfet, if I understand correctly, they are about the size of your thumbnail. I don't know how much room you have in your battery compartment, or how much you have for laying cable, but you have several options for capacitors. you could place them in the handles, or, if you have sufficient room, place them in the battery compartment, with a deans on each end (one male, one female, like an extension cord). you can easily source the caps from disposable cameras (be careful!), which can either be purchased or empty ones that will be given to you if you ask nicely.
  5. the one way you could make this not exactly a which gun question, would be to say that you will write a review on one of these rifles, and you wanted to know which one everybody wanted a review on.
  6. jc snaiper, what kind of scope is that?
  7. I am not sure when, however I do not have my hidden access anymore. my request was here.
  8. mesh masks = epic fail shemegas are meant to be worn loose, they are probably the most confortable and safest solution. but I still think that gas masks look pimp.

    Dragunov?

hmmm... I thought it was an rpk...
  10. one thing I can say - make sure that you can get mags for the thing, I have the double eagle usp, and the mags are near impossible to find.
  11. (it has been mentioned before, somewhere on this forum, I think it was in my sig at one time...) CAVEMAN MILSIM!!!1!!
  12. shemega, or gas mask - just some other options.
  13. I love my aep... metal gearbox - 220fps, best sidearm ever (especially b/c I live in cold land (also known as chicago suburbia)
  14. seems... implausible... though I am not exactly considered authoritative...
  15. only thing I can think of is the hop will hold the bb until the cylinder is more compressed (only a little, though), or possibly increases seal.
  16. one battery, m81 usp. 7.2 volt 500 mah nimh. when I came across the poll, I literally spent less than 10 seconds grabbing the handgun from my side, removing the slide, and popping out the battery. I love that gun. why didn't you ask for capacity?
  17. gah! there is a monster coming out of your toolbox!
  18. to the two above me: linky no worky but seriously, this should be how all electrics work.
  19. wow, though it is not necessarily a good gun, it is loaded with supreme ideas that I would love to see implemented on a good airsoft gun. 1. totally unrealistic look. even the black version looks too much unlike a real firearm. (the bullpup design helps) 2. in-weapon spare mag storage (why don't they do this on real firearms?) 3. electric-cocked-spring. supreme, on so many levels. if this were on an aeg I would love it forever. (with a sweet 4 position switch - safe, semi, auto, manual), that way you could conserve battery life, or reduce motor noise, manually :censored2: it when you run out of battery, etc.) 4. it has rails and a full-lenght iron sight set. best of both worlds. 5. blow back, sweet. I want these features on a high quality gun. NOW!!!
  20. wow, am I the only person in the entire world who owns an m81? (double eagle usp aep) no wonder the mags are so hard to come by. (tee, hee... I have jarmungo hands - even the double stacks feel small, I added 1-2 layers of bicycle innertube, now it is a confortable fit...)
  21. hmmm... looks like one of the position locks, like the one on the big black piece in the second picture. I lost one of them, aparrently it wasn't the same one... just my bolt handle is floppy. look for a notch in either the big black or part of the handle, a little hole.
  22. you probably want to knock on the classic airsofters' doors'
  23. gas masks may be what you are looking for. if they are designed for military use, it may work out in your favor. just make sure the lenses are impact rated.
  24. wow, this thread is quickly going down FAIL st. unless you have a revolver or an asahi? (one with the pressurized cartridges and airfoil rounds), you are never going to even chamber a real round, much less fire it. if you are stupid enough to put live rounds in an airsoft magazine, you deserve whatever happens to you, but sadly that will be nothing - bullets are designed to be quite safe, and can cause little damage without a barrel to accelerate through, .22 rounds cannot even break the skin without a barrel.
  25. get a peephole on your door (at the apartment), if you notice it is him, move out of line with the door. tell him to go into his apartment. keep mace, and not the kind that comes in a can . but seriously, find a good place to hide anything you can't take to mom&dad's. ask your neighbor (the good one) when the guy isn't going to be home. find a good place to hide the airsoft... be creative. there are also phones with motion detectors - they will call you automatically if something moves in your apartment.
