  1. Gear or just BDUs? The problem with most of the gear you find online is that it is a replica, and most of the Flecktarn replica gear is very poor quality. Sadly, I had to settle for surplus pants and field hat and go with an OD vest. PP
  2. Well I purchased a set of the ARES/UFC mags. If they work out, then I'll be buying a second set. If not, I'll be back here asking for more opinions. PP
  3. At 1911 Warrior: Those were already shown in the original post. At Lefse: I had a buddy with KA MP5 mags, and they worked great. But looking at the reviews I believe that the quality is lacking in their G36 mags. Therefore, I am going to stay away from them. Going to a surplus store that also has some airsoft items, so I'll definitely see what they have there. PP
  4. Yeah, I've decided not to go for an impression, just merely use German stuff that works for me. I just can't stand the G36k sights and love my "C" version personally. I'll definitely get you some pictures when I'm done. Actually should be picking up a vest tomorrow whether it be a SAAV or some sort of chest rig. At magpulftw: it's Private Parts, not Private Pyle, haha. Nothing against M14s, though. I could go for a WE if I had the cash. PP
  5. The reason I don't want high caps is because of the constant winding. I guess I don't know too much about flash mags to understand how they work or what their purpose is. EDIT: Just did some research and they seem good theoretically. I'm just worried about quality. Have you personally had any experience with them? And I'm assuming Evike's "Matrix" flash mags are just rebrands of the Lonex? PP
  6. I'm looking to pick up a box set of mags for my G36, but am not sure what brand is the most reliable. I would prefer mags that have a pretty reasonably strong spring because my G36 may be getting a ROF upgrade in the future. They also need to have strong mag clamps because my mag pouches accommodate two clamped together. http://www.evike.com/product_info.php?cPat...oducts_id=27072 Reviews say nothing but good things about them. http://www.evike.com/product_info.php?cPat...oducts_id=27943 Reviews on Evike don't appear very good, but most of the people on GI seem to like them. http://www.evike.com/product_info.php?products_id=37666 I love PMags to death and while these of course are always an option, I'd like to spend a little less and keep a more authentic G36 look. http://www.evike.com/product_info.php?cPat...oducts_id=30668 Hehe, why not? http://www.evike.com/product_info.php?products_id=25332 Also have heard nothing but good things about these, but they don't have a box set. :( http://www.evike.com/product_info.php?products_id=31982 Decent reviews even though I'm not a big fan of the dummy bullets. I'm open to all opinions. I'm also not limited to Evike. They just had a bigger in-stock selection, and I would prefer to combine orders with my buddy. PP
  7. Please edit your original post. You misspelled many words, and it's hard to decipher. I don't even understand your question. PP
  8. Medium Length Rifle Medium Range Black long sleeve Under Armor, and SAAV, BDU pants, and hat, all in Flecktarn. Most engagements occur around 100-150 ft PP
  9. ^^That's what I had to do. They had no problem doing it. PP
  10. I made a purchase in the San Francisco store while on vacation, and it worked out great. PP
  11. My friend was selling a new JG G36c for $80, so I obviously had to take it. I added an RVG and keep debating having my red dot and Gemtech on it or not. I realize this isn't standard Bundeswehr so I'm also looking into possibly the JG G36 with the bipod and scope because of the decent externals and then doing some internal upgrades. I figured that way I'll have one that I'll make look like a true Bundeswehr rifle and one that I'll customize to my own "German" standards, haha. PP
  12. The sunlight makes it super hard to see, but it sounds pretty good. I just started doing my own loadout, too. Now trying to decide between a Flecktarn SAAV or Chest Rig. PP
  13. Possibly either of these. http://www.evike.com/product_info.php?cPat...oducts_id=34901 http://www.evike.com/product_info.php?products_id=36454 PP
  14. Just an FYI, your pictures don't work. PP
  15. A Serpa is a nice pistol holster, but they don't make them for MP7s. PP
  16. Recently picked up a G36 and want to stray from the usual M83 woodland at our local field. Since the G36 is my primary I decided to get some Flecktarn. I do want to start out by saying that this is in no way going to be an impressionist loadout. I'm not trying to copy anything, just merely do an easy Flecktarn loadout. Where I play, I feel comfortable wearing an Under Armor long-sleeved shirt and BDU pants so I planned on picking up a pair or two at the local Fleet Farm. Where I ran into trouble was finding a vest. I found two so far but need input on these. They appear to be the same, but I can't be sure. http://www.flecktarn.co.uk/fltcr1nx.html#reviews Ebay item number 300622410221 I'm always a little weary of ordering from Ebay, but I'm not ruling it out as an option. I'm also open to other ideas, just keep it Flecktarn and reasonably cheap because it's a secondary loadout. PP
  17. Those mags shouldn't have any problem fitting in your rifle. PP
  18. Sorry, I do not know that exact number. The first owner "said" that they didn't shoot it very much. All I know is that it still runs very smoothly and has only seen about a thousand from me. I just want something different. PP
  19. So I made a posting on Craigslist and have gotten a few offers, but nothing set in stone. I'm wondering if my price point is okay to start at. I also understand that Craigslist is a bad place to try to sell airsoft guns, but I want to keep it local to avoid shipping. http://minneapolis.craigslist.org/csw/spo/3042789764.html Let me know what you guys think. PP
  20. Thanks a lot. I had to change my pants just by reading the title, and then I had to change them again once I saw the pictures. That's a gorgeous rifle that I'd love to see a video of. Very jealous. PP
  21. <AT>J-man: Alright, cool. Sounds easy enough. <AT>Stupid Submachinegunner: Really Tony? Let's leave the bashing out of this thread. We all know what he meant. PP
  22. <AT>LiveHumanTarget: I certainly wasn't trying to insult you, and I'm sorry if I did. I guess I was basically just trying to make it clear that it's not one of my options. PP
  23. <AT>LiveHumanTarget: Yes, the grips are a deal breaker. My buddy had that gun, and I hated those grips with a passion. Because obviously, I would have just bought his gun from him instead of buying my own. PP
