  1. I get this msg: Hi TommyGun, IT'S ALIVE...." Today is Friday May 1st, 2020 and it's been awhile since you heard from us (understatement of the year). In the following topic, I mentioned a few things about what all has been going on with the forum the last few years, and that the forum is now back up (she's actually been up for awhile, if you haven't been around much. If you have forgotten about us and wondering why you're receiving this email: You created an account here on 04/12/2010 and the last time you were here was 04/27/2011 I would like to invite you back to take a look at the new forum software and see what you think. If you would like to be a forum moderator, please let me know with a text message. Now I think it would be nice if forums of any kind came back especially AirSoft but the reality is they are not. Between FakeBook, Twitter, and all the rest of the narcissistic platforms they have destroyed community forums like this one. The hay days of AirSoft forums are gone guys, big sites like So Cal Airsoft are silent and have been for years like this one. I played during the yrs of 2001/2015 and all I can say they were the best years ever, team camaraderie, just luv between fellow players, it was great and I'm happy to of been part of the best years. I see the vids now everybody with 1k loadouts and all the trick guns and they play like crap, run and gun, cheating, fights when they get shot by a little guy, oh did I mention huge egos!. Yeah the old days are gone, I'm here in AZ now the player base here is one of the same I've just mentioned. Sad to say I've retired my gear, still have my various platforms and still screw around the yard but as far as playing with unsavory spoiled players? that ship has sailed. Don't expect a reply to this thread but what the hell, who is still a community player..
  2. "Today is Friday May 1st, 2020 and it's been awhile since you heard from us (understatement of the year)." Just received this msg a few hours ago. Nice to see sites reaching out to revive the boards, but I think it's too late, social media sites with their narcissist platforms have ruined sites like this that bring people together as a community. The me, me, me platforms ie; FB, Twitter, and the rest have ended boards like this, So Cal Airsoft and the rest have had no chatter in years, soo sad.
  3. There is no link to their forums but I have on my favorites list http://insightinteractive.proboards.com/index.cgi so I went to it, seems dead, no new post for two months. No player input. The pics look very cool they did a nice job on the build. I'm close so I guess I'll check it out before playing.
  4. Don't know where to start so here it goes. My name is Tommy and I go by the name TommyGun. Here is a short bio. Name : Tommy, TommyGun Military : X-US Navy Age : Over the hill and enjoying the ride Callsign : T, TG, hey bald guy over here! Location : Covina Ca. Affiliation/Team : Death Dealers Weapons :Wow lots, but my favorites are my CA M15A4 CQB Compact Seal/Custom M4 for my main, and a KWA M9 PTP side arm Gear : Right now I'm running a contractor loadout with a Seal Chest Rig. Intro/Bio : hello my name is Tommy and I am a future Airsoft Training Facility owner. I have been airsofting for over 10 years and my first gun was a TM M4 (wobble wobble). Can't remember my first field. My first impression was SWAT. I do all of my tech work so no issues with down time. The only problem is choice of fields, but that is only temporary. Quote: We must learn to live Together as Brothers or else We shall Perish together as Fools. I am My Brothers Keeper. I was watching a program this morning with your Mayor John Fetterman talking about how Braddock Pa. is not doing so well sense the steel mills left. My Grandmother was from Pittsburgh Pa. so I felt the need to contact some players from the area. I am in the process of opening up an Airsoft Training Facility here in So. Cal. until I watched your Mayors story. Now I have switched my focus to your area. From the program I saw large strips of residential realestate empty and I got an idea. Why am I opening a field here in So. Cal. when there is so much red tape and the local government officials with their hands out. Now this is only an "idea" at this point and it will be very hard to do what I want to do without help from the local residents. I will be contacting your mayor this week but I would like to know if it would be worth the effort, what is the player participation in your area? Here in So.Cal., on average 100 players a day show up at Paintsoft fields, it's a good market here. I'm opening up a MilSim Training Facility not Airsoft Sport. Remember this is only an idea at this point. Positive and negative input would be appreciated. Thanks TommyGun ( I know this is not the right area for this topic so you can move it or delete it)
