  1. To upgrade "range/grouping at range" get a tighter-bore barrel, and upgrade the hop-up and bucking. For fire rate, lighter springs and more powerful batteries. How far and accurate does your gun shoot already? What about 9.6v li-po's?
  2. Mar-ee cause it's easiest to say. And it might be right. And it makes you not sound like an idiot. It makes me laugh when people say Marooee, even it might be the right pronunciation.
  3. Other, because I don't really get most of the options. Woodland camo jacket (or woodland camo hoodie if I want a hood), woodland camo pants or tan pants, sunglasses (not aviators lol). That's pretty much it.
  4. How old are the people that make all those custom guns that must've cost 500 dollars or more overall?
  5. Army has more airplanes than the Air Force, or so I've heard. Marines is pretty much ONLY grunts. The expendables. Army at least has a few positions that don't make you an expendable.
  6. I don't have much money to spend (because I'm to young to get a full time job) but I've spent 255 on my spring shotgun + JG G36C (ripped off) + gas pistol (that I lost) + ammo (I've only bought 4000+3000 ammo)
  7. Browning M2 (I have no idea where the guy got it).
  8. Lol, I don't live in CT, but I think I live within 1500 feet of a school...
  9. Lol some beginner kid offered me $200 dollars for my basic JG MK36 (G36C), which I bought for $160 (ripoff, I was impatient and bought it at my local airsoft store), and costs like $110-$130 on most airsoft websites. I couldn't hide my smile though, so I had to tell him how much I'd really bought it for.
  10. Your in field, you shouldn't be spraying people, so RPS should be one of the least of your concerns. I use single fire most of the time in the first place.
  11. Any suggestions for other retailers? I already went through all of Evike, AirsoftGI, Airsoft Megastore, Airsoft Station, ShortyUSA (always overpriced), Airsplat, Trinity Airsoft Maybe I could have a look at PyramydAir (forgot that one), but what other websites?
  12. You could buy a CO2 or green gas pistol for around that range, but it'll be have no blowback (no moving slide) and probably be plastic.
  13. Yeah I know it's a lot. I'm probably gonna get the SCAR-L. But I just wanted to know if there are any big pros or big cons about any of these guns.
  14. So you guys are saying that I should buy a Greengaspropane GBB instead of a CO2 one? And I shouldn't worry about running out of gas after 2 magazines in the middle of a battle? How long does it normally take to refill the gun with gas? So with the lower FPS of green gas, is it even possible that the BB will go as far as CO2, if the green gas gun is high enough quality? I just want something that could hit accurately at 75 feet at least and probably have blowback.
  15. I'm trying to find a new gun to replace my JG G36C, because I don't really like the gun after all. I just feel like I should get a gun that's worth the money, because I wasted 40 extra dollars when I bought it at my local airsoft store for $160, when I could've bought it online for ~$120. I was too impatient. Anyways, I'm pretty much just looking for another mid-level AEG for under 170 dollars, and here are the ones I have narrowed it down to. My specifications were: -Still long and accurate enough for field, but could work for CQC too -Metal gearbox -Rails in the front and top (mainly the top) -Accurate up to 150 feet or more -Under 170 dollars -Something that's not an AK variant or M4/M16 variant or base My Top 2 Favorite: 1. JG AUG-A3 ($169.95) http://www.airsoftmegastore.com/400_FPS_NE..._p/jg-0450b.htm 2. Boyi/D-Boys/CYMA SCAR MK.16 Black ($154.99) http://www.airsplat.com/Items/ERM-BI-SCAR-01B.htm MP5 MODELS: CUSTOM JG M5 TaskForce-6 ($157.95) (Includes red-dot and one of those magazines that has two stuck together so you can have two at all times) http://www.airsoftmegastore.com/400_FPS_JG...n-custom-73.htm CYMA MP5 RAS ($159.95) (This seems like it would be the best out of the MP5's I found) http://www.airsoftstation.com/cyma-cm041-s...ne-gun-aeg.html JG MP5 RAS ($159.99) http://www.airsplat.com/Items/ERM-JG-M5-072T.htm SHORTER BARREL GUNS THAT MAY STILL WORK FOR FIELD: JG Sig552 Commando ($123.95) http://www.airsoftmegastore.com/Airsoft_JG...EG_p/jg-082.htm JG Sig552 Commando ($124.99) (In case the other one goes out of stock) http://www.airsplat.com/Items/ERM-JG-S552-082.htm JG G3 SAS ($127.95) http://www.airsoftmegastore.com/400_FPS_JG...-097-t3sasg.htm JG G3 Shorter Barrel Version ($139.95) http://www.airsoftmegastore.com/375_FPS_JG...102-t3-mc51.htm S&T/Umarex H&K UMP ($157.00) http://www.airsoftgi.com/product_info.php?products_id=10170 ASSAULT RIFLES: JG Sig550 Marksman ($137.95) http://www.airsoftmegastore.com/Airsoft_JG...EG_p/jg-080.htm JG Military AUG-A2 with Integrated Scope ($143.95) http://www.airsoftmegastore.com/Airsoft_JG..._p/jg-0449a.htm
  16. I'm looking for AEGs under $170, and I have kind of specific requirements for what guns I want, yet I still only narrowed it down to about 10 guns. There are a lot of good AEGs for under $200 our there. I would recommend these brands for first mid-level AEG: JG, G&G, Echo1, CYMA. They're pretty much the most reliable brands when it comes to AEGs from 100 to 200 dollars. When deciding on what gun to get, just get your favorite model, but for over 100 dollars, make sure it has a metal gearbox and metal rails at least. Metal body isn't even necessary half the time, because some guns in real life aren't "full metal" (example: MP5, UMP, G36). FPS is kind of a big factor as well. Most CQB arenas/places don't allow guns with over 350 FPS, so take that into consideration if you think you'll play a lot of close quarters. FPS doesn't really mean how far it will shoot. The hop-up system and how accurate the gun is overall are also factors when determining if you'll hit your target at a distance. So this can just depend on the quality of the gun too. M4s, M16s, AKs, and MP5s are pretty much the most popular models of airsoft guns, so if you're thinking about customizing or upgrading your gun in the future, I'd recommend you to buy one of these.
  17. But then you don't save money, because you need a bunch of extra mags. See, I agree with this guy. Look: CO2 Pistol in battle: 8 mags before having to switch CO2 once Green Gas pistol in battle: 3 mags before having to refill again Instead of carrying a bulky canister or propane or green gas, you carry 3 or 4 small CO2 cartridges, which could definitely last a whole day of battle (because you barely ever pull out your pistol), and would take up a lot less space. Also, when I see a green gas blowback compared to a CO2 blowback when firing, I see no difference, other than the fact that the CO2 powered gun shoots farther.
  18. Everything looks good, except I'm sure you could find a better quality M4 (I have heard WE isn't as great as some other mid-priced AEG brands) for a better price that actually includes a battery and chrager. Since when would an AEG under 200 dollars not include a battery or charger? And why would you rather buy a WE instead of a JG or G&G? Those two brands are pretty much the most trusted mid-level AEG manufacturers, and they seem to work for nearly everybody. WE is the brand people under 10 years old buy when they want a little automatic pea shooter known as an LPEG.
  19. I owned the Tactical Force CO2 Blowback Airsoft Pistol (the first two links are the same gun...) and it worked great. I owned it for about 3 months. Then I went to my first major airsoft war, and I misplaced it. I was at the war's location for 9 hours. 6/9 of those hours I spent searching for my pistol on the 22-acre property. I knew FOR SURE where I had lost it, and I tried and tried to look for it. I'm pretty sure somebody stole it, and some other people who were at the war agreed. Anyways, it worked good, it shot far, each CO2 canister lasted for 100-150 shots approximately, which is very good considering it'll probably be a sidearm.
  20. Stuff that won't break = almost any gun above 100 dollars, as long as you don't do something stupid or have bad luck.
  21. Question: Which sniper rifle for 80-120 dollars is bad, exactly?
  22. Oh...I'm the only voter. I chose the Marui G17 because I have never used it but everybody says very great things about it.
