  1. http://www.airsoftgi.com/product_info.php?products_id=3771 I have a budget of $200. Is this a good DMR?
  2. Which is better? I know a lot of people say the G&G is way better than echo 1, but is that realy the case? This is my first aeg. Also, it is true that most people use 8.4 batteries or is 9.6 the norm?
  3. So, are you saying the accuracy of the ak74u, compared to say an m16a4 would not have a major difference in accuracy?
  4. Ok, now should I buy any upgrades or accesories for it when I buy it? Maybe a 9.6v.
  5. Ok guys, I've narrowed it down to the following guns. Try to stick to these and not recommend others, because Echo 1's QC check is really important to me. Also, is there a big difference between 8.4 and 9.6v batteries? I assume not, as most m4s can only use 8.4s. Echo 1 MK5 A4/A5: http://www.airsoftgi.com/product_info.php?...roducts_id=1972 Why I like it: It's the cheapest Echo 1 gun. Echo 1 Stag-15 M4: http://www.airsoftgi.com/product_info.php?...roducts_id=1975 Why I like it: It's pretty much the most standard airsoft gun type. Echo I Stag-15 M16: http://www.airsoftgi.com/product_info.php?products_id=1973 Why I like it: Long barrel, would give me huge advantage over M4 users. Echo 1 RedStar Ak74u: http://www.airsoftgi.com/product_info.php?...roducts_id=2925 Why I like/do not like it: Full metal construction, but it's a short gun designed for CQB, I mainly play outdoors. Echo 1 M14 SOCOM: http://www.airsoftgi.com/product_info.php?...roducts_id=3574 Why I like it: Perfect barrel length, right in between a DMR and a Carbine. This would give me a range advantage over most players, as most players use M4s. Red Star Full Metal AK74 VGM: http://www.airsoftgi.com/product_info.php?products_id=3141 Why I like it/don't: Full metal, but the AK design is kind of obscure...
  6. Where I play, the most common guns are JG m4s and MP5s. And those are like the highest quality guns. I've seen 10 year olds come with orange spring mp5s, and de/utg single shot shotguns. I just don't see the point in buying a top quality gun when the guns I already have an advantage against 1/4 of the players with a JG m4. On a different note: Is this gun any good? 7. Just wondering, then why does ASGI, a reputable airsoft store, promote Echo 1 in their Newbie airsoft setup videos? They include a charger and battery.)
  8. Hi guys. This is my first time posting here, so excuse any noobishness. I'm looking to buy an airsoft gun, preferably spring or electric, under $200 INCLUDING A BATTERY AND CHARGER. What would you guys recommend? Currently I am considering the Echo 1 MK5A4/MK5A5 and Echo 1 STAG 15 A1 (Carbine variant) and A4 (DMR variant). It would be nice if the gun was metal, but this is not a major issue for me. As long as the gun is made of durable plastic, that will be just fine. I plan to use this gun mainly for outdoor use. (Not to be a COD nerd, but I AK74u is really cool as well.)
