  1. I see. Thanks for all the help guys. I guess I was asking for a bit much. After doing some research, and from you guy's responses, it seems the only worth while AEP Glocks are the tokyo marui and the cyma. The TM obviously is the better of the 2, but way more expensive. Almost 3x as much as the cyma and that's beyond my price range. So I think I'll just settle for the CYMA. A few questions, though. How reliable is this AEP? I have owned cyma springers in the past and they were always pretty bad. But then again, they were springers. How's the range on this gun? I don't really care for fps since this will be mainly used for "fun", but I guess the fps will effect the range overall. Is there a metal/more realistic slide I could purchase for the Cyma?
  2. The title states it all. Some stuff that I would like the gun to come with: - Don't really care if it has "blowback", but I guess it's kind of cool if it does. Functionality is more important to me. - High build quality, obviously. - I want to it be a pretty good glock replica. Meaning I would like it to look as realistic as possible. - Hop-up. Prefer adjustable but fixed will do. The only one I can seem to find is the $9.99 one off of airsplat (http://www.airsplat.com/Items/EP-JLS-GLK-2011.htm), but it looks like it's junk and is meant more for kids.
  3. maybe superb was a bit extravagent. Lets aim for good/decent. do you have any links to the cheaper spring g17s? I can't seem to find them anywhere.
  4. That's a little over my price range. :/ but thanks. I'm looking to spend around $20-25ish. Man, is it really that hard to find a spring g17? Also, can you guys recommend me some good online airsoft stores that offer great prices on spring pistols? The only one I really know of is airsplat.com Edit: It doesn't just have to be a g17, it can be any glock style pistol for that matter.
  5. A friend of mine really wants a spring g17 for his birthday, but I can't seem to find one anywhere. Does anyone know where I can get one?
  6. Ah I understand. :/ I kind of just want a spring gun for now, and hopefully if I really get into the airsoft world, I'll begin to look into gas and C02 guns. Another question, I know you've probably never used these pistols but, I'm sure your airsoft knowledge is far superior to mine so which out of these two would you recommend? http://www.airsplat.com/Items/AP-SOFT-U978BH.htm http://www.airsplat.com/Items/AP-UMX-HK-USP.htm
  7. The reviews on that gun kind of scare me. :/ I'll keep it in mind though, it does look pretty cool. Another thing I forgot to mention is I REALLY want the adjustable hop-up feature. Ever since I heard about adjustable hop-up, I've always wanted to mess with one. Fixed seems cool but adjustable seems funner. haha.
  8. Hi! So, I'm just getting into the scene, and I've decided to start out with a spring pistol. I've bought a cheap spring pistol from the ice cream man about a month ago and it broke within 3 days.. Lol! So yeah, I think I should get a higher quality pistol. I've checked the "spring pistol buyers guide" and I didn't really understand much of it. ha. My budget as of right now, and I know it's not much, but it's $25ish. What I would really like including in this gun is either the hop-up system or the BAX system. And I prefer the more minimalistic/plain/simple/compact style of handguns (I.e. the glock and such) So any help would be greatly appreciated and links would be great as well. Thanks!
