  1. Hey guys, So my friend has a G&G RK103 (A AK47 basically) with a Pneumatic BlowBack system. I did research and found this video. https://youtu.be/yyeGfob0ZUI thats how it looks and works. I think it would work but I wouldn't want him spending 300 and getting excited only to find out it won't.
  2. I get that haha, but how does it affect capacity and how can I calculate how many shots I have?
  3. Hey guys, so after getting my first HPA tank, I've always been wondering what these "26/3000" and "60/3000" meant. I obviously knew the tank had a capacity of 3000 psi, but I don't really understand the Cubic Inches part. I couldn't find an answer online and I'm quite sure I'm blind to something really obvious. So could someone explain this for me? Thanks.
  4. So I was ignoring these new "Armorer Works" custom Hi Capa's showing up on my feed on FB or on the stores at Evike. I got carried away last night at work and chose to search them up. I was directed to this quite well organized website full of many types of Hi Capas all custom from Armorer Works. So from my knowledge, these guys sprung up around September or October of last year and are quite new to the market so to speak. They've got quite a ton of things on their website along with a dual barrel hi capa! Again, this company is out of Taiwan, so I'm not sure if it's another WE-Tech trash or some new sprung miracle. Was wondering what my fellow Hi Capa geeks thought. I'm quite stuck to the belief of TM and TM only, but Armorer Works looks quite ambitious.
  5. I am planning on going to Echigoya Airsoft store over the weekend so I can see if the slide is there. If Not I will order asap
  6. Need a new slide for my Hi Capa and found a perfect one on Alpha Airsoft. I just want to know how long it takes for it to get to me. Thanks!
  7. This question came to me after I was discussing over a PX4 with a couple of friends. Tokyo Marui and WE-Tech are both big companies, but WE-Tech has quite a "Bad" reputation with some of their products leading to the fact to most airsofters that "WE sucks". Because Tokyo Marui was quite the "Beginning" of airsoft, all (more likely most) internal and external upgrades are based off and for their products. ^ That was the main reason I chose TM over anything when it came to GBBs with a abundant option of upgrades (Specifically the Hi-Capa). Recently noticed that some guns don't have as many upgrades, and in the perspective of a, say, beginning airsofter, WE seems much more appealing than the TM. That's what gets me, over the couple of years I've been playing, WE was fun to shoot but ended up breaking. TM, on the other hand, has always performed flawlessly and never gave me a problem. Recently, WE began to pick up their game and started to create pretty well made replicas. So the main question is, would you chose WE over TM? Yes or No. Please also say why!
  8. Hey guys, recently posted a unanswered topic asking about the TM PX4. Now to think about it, don't know why I even asked. Anyways, I'm a big fan on the "real steel" side and want to get the airsoft version. I've owned many gas guns in my career and I always chose TM over anything. Recently noticed that the WE PX4 is (3PX4) also another option I have. Although not a big fan of WE, I've heard great things about their PX4. Not sure which to choose and price wise, WE is going to allow me to buy the PX4 itself and 2 extra magazines compared to being only able to get the TM PX4 for the same price. What are your thoughts?
  9. Didn't even know those existed thank you so much!
  10. Hey guys, I'll be soon getting my hands on a WE SMG8. Knowing WE is the easiest to break, I was wondering what upgrades are good to buy. I'm assuming new valves for the mags and maybe an extra nozzle? Thanks guys.
  11. Hello everyone! At operations, I've been finding myself sliding much more often to gain that small advantage. After getting close to my 5.11 TDU's tearing, I began wearing kneepads. As I found the Arc'TeryX replicas to look the nicest, I purchased a pair and tried them out at my indoor field. I completely embarrassed myself when the rubber on the pads caught on the ground and I hit my forehead against a barricade. Now I'm here looking for kneepads that would enhance my sliding experience. Thanks guys!
  12. I've personally owned both, not the specific G&G you've put, but a G&G and a MWA M4A1 (Around same price range). I would say G&G over KWA definitely. First off, the G&G lasted me a year while the KWA lasted me a mere 5 months. The KWA has mostly proprietary internals which do not allow me to change most of the internals or upgrade them. KWA's bucking is crap, I was at OP Lion Claws and was getting 100 fps because my bucking froze. Even before that incident, my KWA stopped shooting straight and started getting to about 50ft before dropping. Everytime something on the KWA breaks, you either have to spend a lot fixing it or send it back for a "$50 maintenance fee" The G&G has done me too well and it's probably one of the best ways to go if you plan on expanding and if you plan on going to milsim events as a KWA AEG is the last last resort. Keep in mind KWA GBBs are a different story and are actually quite decent.
  13. As continuation from my old TippMann post about specific lines, I received the TippMann today in a trade! So the trader just gave me the lower along with a Ninja line that he said works specifically for the TippMann. So now that I have the lower itself, I do understand I need to put some money aside for a couple of things. So heres what I got so far, New Upper ($150) Inner Barrel ($50~?) Front Assembly ($100~) Outer Barrel ($50~) For the tank I'll be using my ninja 62/3000 from my HPA build. So for the people who've owned TippMann or still own one could you tell me what else I'd need to get? Thanks :)
  14. Awesome. I got the TippMann in today and the trade did not include an upper. Do I need an upper to set between semi and full?
  15. I'm thinking of buying a Tokyo Marui PX4. Does anyone have insight on the pros and cons? Thanks.
  16. So in a debate between a friend who knows TippMann really well and a person who owns one, they were arguing on how a TippMann cannot handle normal lines and would require a person to buy a specific line that could handle 800 psi. Friend who owned a tippmann opposed saying a normal line and semi worked normal for him. I'm confused and would like some help. So if I were to buy a TippMann m4, would I need to get a new line or will my Amped SLP do the job?
  17. Hey guys! So just recently came across of Bingo Airsoft Designs Polarstar kit for a MP7 and then was flashed backed to the WELL R4 that my friend had bought a long time ago. This brings me to a question, how long does the WELL R4 go back and is it over all a good gun? What history does it have? Thanks guys!
  18. Yep, ProWin seems to be the "Best" option atm for a higher capacity. It's just that the ProWin is super expensive!
  19. So for a HPA setup, I've always been told heavy bbs are the way to go. So should I continue to use .28s and .30s? or go to .32? Thanks
