G&G GR15, modified to the point where it isn't recognisable... HFC VSR-11, upgraded Umarex USP 45 Match G&G Xtreme 45
  1. Sorry for the late response, I've not checked my notifications in a while. I've recently upgraded my reprap to a 0.3mm nozzle and I have a few other upgrades planned (which involves me stripping off all the electronics and replacing it). I am good with both Blender and Autodesk Inventor. I use blender a lot for game design and concepts and I've been using it for about 6 years now haha As for Inventor, it's a very easy to learn package and I use it for all my 3D printing needs. It's the best program out there for my needs :) I can print the parts myself, I can just split the models into pieces and piece them together with pins and adhesive then sand them to give a good finish
  2. That worked a treat thanks :) It sprouted a leak out of the bottom of the mag once I did that but I fixed it with a bit of ptfe tape. Cheers :)
  3. Hi all, So I recently did some maintenance on my USP and noticed the (top) valves in the magazine were leaking. I opened it up and checked all the o-rings and they were in good condition, no cracks or splits and well lubed. I tried re-lubing the valves, tightening/ loosening them and even small strips of ptfe tape to stem the flow of escaping gasses. It reduced the amount that was escaping but I can't get it to seal completely. Have any of you got any input as to how I can fix this or where I can buy some replacement valves? (preferably high flow, but stock as well) Cheers, - will
  4. Hi all, I've been thinking about making a custom stock and lower receiver for my CQB M4 for a while now. I'm going to be running it on MP5 magazines with a P90 style stock because I'm tired of seeing everyone with the same gun, I'd like to mix it up a little. I have a 3d printer and a workshop so I'll be mixing 3D printed, metal and wooden components. Hopefully it'll turn out well if I have the time to make it... So my question is, have any of you made your own unique AEG stocks and if so, what do they look like and how are they constructed?
  5. Hi all, I bought a G&G Xtreme 45 about a year ago and I've recently decided to start tinkering with it seen as I use a USP .45 Match as my sidearm now. I've been looking online for aftermarket parts and I can't find any. Are there any out there? If not, I can always design my own (I'm pretty handy with CAD) and have them machined but it's always easier to use a tried and tested part. I'm looking for spare parts too, like the two metal strips on the side of the internals which actuate the trigger and safety. I want to have some spare so if I break either when modifying then I can go back to stock. Cheers, -Will
  6. Hi all, I posted the other day but it seems to be deleted. My account was also deleted when the forums were upgraded so I don't know if that had anything to do with it. I'm looking for a low profile barrel nut, the type you find on a Daniel defense RIS. I can't find them anywhere and it's annoying me now as my old barrel nut is only just hanging in there... Cheers, -Will
