  1. I have one of the ECHO1 MK16 or SCAR-L and the stock broke....big surprise there. I can't find the parts I need anywhere, but I have found many SCAR-H stock parts. Does anyone know if they're interchangeable? If not, anyone know of a place to find SCAR-L stocks?
  2. Can anyone tell me if the internals are the same between the G&G TR series (top tech) and their GR series? The only difference between the two series that I can tell is that the TR's are full metal and the GR's are polymer. If there's a diff in the internals, please let me know.
  3. Just bought a used Well Scorpion and sure enough, it doesn't fire BB's. It will cycle, and you can feel the burst of air coming out the barrel, but it's not shooting BB's. Every once in a while, a bb will just roll out the end of the barrel. I've tried 3 different mags, so I doubt it's a mag problem. Any suggestions on what to look at when I take it apart? Thanks in advance for any troubleshooting advice. Erick
  4. I'm planning on buying a A&K Masada DMR to eventually make into a sniper rifle. I'm limited to 350 fps at our local field, so it's already as fast as allowed right out of the box. What upgrades do I need to make it more accurate? I'm assuming a better barrel and hop up are the necessary. If my thinking is correct, what company makes good upgrade parts?
  5. Our local indoor airsoft place uses AEP Glock and Beretta pistols as their rentals. They are low velocity, but work fine and seems to be reliable enough for the kids. They appear to be CM030 pistols....not sure what the Beretta one is though. I tried looking for one and found tons of parts and magazines, but can't seem to find the actual guns for sale. Are they discontinued? Is there something similar I can get for my son that's hassle free and easy to use like these guns?

Sorry, I posted this in the wrong area, but apparently I can't delete my own posts.
  7. I couldn't find a comparison using the search so I thought I'd just ask. I'm leaning towards buying a WE 1911 or Beretta as a first CQB pistol, but wanted to get opinions on CO2 pistolstoo. The only games I've played at the local field have been with AEP's. After seeing how a typical match goes, I'm assuming a GG pistol with enough mags to last a match is the way to go. Do CO2 pistols have any advantage over GG that I should be looking at CO2 instead of GG? Also, if GG is the way to go, are the WE 1911's a decent investment?
  8. Yeah I've seen JG BAR 10's being recommended on other posts as well. I just wasn't sure they were upgradeable rifles or not. Obviously from your post, they are. Thanks for the info and the specifics on upgrades! I usually start with Evike or AirsoftGi to check prices. Is there any other honey spots to find good deals on this rifle?
  9. Ok, so I recently got into airsoft and have the AEG rifle covered, which I will be using 92.3% of the time. However, I'd like to occasionally play in a sniper game now and then. Most of the local fields have a 400 fps cap w/.20, so I guess that's my limit. With that given info, I would like to get recommendations for an accurate sniper rifle that has good build quality and has the ability to be upgraded easily. I'm not partial to any particular platform, but from what I've been reading, it looks like I will be expecting recommendations to be either L96 or VSR-10 platforms. With roughly $250 to spend, what rifle is the best starting point? I can go a little higher if there's a better choice just outside the 250 cap. Also, are there any immediate upgrades that are recommended? If so, what are they? I already have a scope and bipod off a real rifle, so those aren't part of the build cost. ....and, go!
  10. I think I'll just pass then. Rather save up and buy something that I really want instead of just buying because it's cheap.
  11. I'm finding a lot of CM M4 variants for around the $149 range. That seems fairly decent for a G&G gun. Are they made out of good polymer? Are the internals good enough to last a while? Erick
  12. ghilliesuitsniper, please post a review when you get the gun. My son wants the same style and it seems there are only a few companies making them right now. I don't fancy paying $500 for VFC, so the A&K is really the only affordable option. Very interested to hear what you have to say about the stock gun. Erick
  13. I'm sure a lot of you have noticed that airsoftgi is selling those Red Jacket labeled Elite Force M4's for $99. They seem to have decent specs for the price, but I also know you get what you pay for. Is that a good gun for $100 or stay away from it?
  14. Just getting into airsoft and bought a G&G TR418 to start playing. Our local field has a 350fps max, but my gun shoots a little over 400. I will replace the spring myself, but which one should I order to get me there? Thanks in advance, Erick
