Hey there all you airsofters! I have a question for ya. I have the JG Scorpion R2, a clone of the old WELL one, and I'm in kind of a dilemma here. It didn't come with a battery cover. The gun works fine, I love it. It's the ultimate secondary. I've done away with all of my pistols except my CO2 non blowback. But like I said, the Scorpion didn't come with a battery cover, so due to the movement of the gun's mechanism in full auto, I can get off maybe 10 rounds before the battery falls out of the grip due to the shock. What can I do here? I don't know where to order a replacement cover, Evike doesn't have one. I've thought about taping it, but that's just kind of eh. Is there a hotfix of some kind for this, or a place to order a new one? I'd be much obliged.
Hello everyone! So recently I bought a Tokyo Marui Vz61 Scorpion, although used. I noticed that if I pull the main spring it doesn't want to chamber a pellet. The magazine's spring is stressed but not enough, and the fire rate button(?) gets stuck between safety and single-shot, although I can move it between either two and it doesn't want to fire. It only fires when I set it to fully automatic, which it shouldn't have since it's a spring powered gun. I'm new to this and I really have no idea what to do with the gun. It was cheap though, so taking apart and breaking it further wouldn't really be a problem, it just would be nice to be able to use it.
So I've had a well scorpion for a while now and have been researching this subject on this forum( so if this has already been cover by all means delete mods) and others for a long time and can never find a straight answer. I always hear that that the mp7 and the vz's internals are very similar and it "may" be possible to use the after market upgrades from the mp7 for the vz61 but am still not sure if I want to gamble my money on something that might potentially give me a fat headache. So my idea is simple enough if what I have read is true. Switch out the barrel for a longer Nine Ball MP7A1 AEP Inner Barrel (6.03mm x 182mm) grab the 20mm silencer to hoouse the longer barrel, swap out the stock battery and get a 7.4 lipo and then all the internals to be replaced with mp7 nineball barrings, brushings and piston and that should all work right? all this I could find on airsoftatlanta.com. so any thoughts would be awesome. thanks guys
