Greetings! It's my first time having an airsoft gun and first time posting here. So please do excuse my naiveness regarding anything about airsoft guns. :) Im really interested about this sport (I'm not sure if Airsoft's a sport). It looks fun and very engaging and would love to play with people nearby but nobody seems to be interested about Airsoft around my area (or maybe I just really have no friends haha). Either way, if you happen to be living around my area (Philippines, Pampanga, Angeles City) I would really appreciate anyone contacting me in my Instagram: <AT>frozensnowee. If you're not interested in about how I got the gun or any of this stuff, you can always go straight to my <a href="help">Question.</a> How I got my hands on this gun: Well, who doesn't love christmas presents? Especially, when you get the one to pick your own present worth # of anything? Well, I do! My not so close brother (conversations are uncommon to us both) asked me what I wanted this past Christmas and told him that I wanted an Airsoft gun. That's all I said. Well, because I'm not the spoiled type of lil bro that gets always what he wants. I got clothes instead. After the holidays and all the fuss, we happen to stay by our Grandma's place for a few days. And me and my mom got another chance to go through my late Dad's heavy boxes of old stuff. Summarized, contained an old SLR, old photo albums, power tools, a REALLY sharp combat knife, some old digital typewriter I think and, a sniper scope. And some bullets. (don't ask why) And finally, the Walther P5 by Marukoshi. It says on the box ASGK, I'm guessing it means AirSoft Guns Korea or something. Anyway, It's still in good condition I think. <a href="http://www.baltimorecs.com/classics/Marukoshi/p5-1.jpg">Here's a picture on the internet.</a> (not my picture) But I promise, I have the gun. If you've seen/heard/know/had the gun already, good for you. And me. My Mom said that my Dad bought it in Hong Kong around the year 1989 because he wanted to join the army then (which his dad, my late Grandad, refused him to). And if my box, there's a price tag still hugging the top cover of the box which says $275. (I can't tell) Maybe it's $325 or something but I'll stick with $235 for guesees sake. It's probably Hong Kong Dollars (the old value probably). Is anyone willing to help me compute it to Philippine Peso (php)? And going inside, you will see three carved holes of styrofoam, specifically for the gun, BB's and a small rectangle hole. Probably it's the gas. Both BB's and the gun survived through the years but it seems that the only one that didn't make it is the gas. Which I have no idea what kind of gas is it. Which leads us to my question. <a name="help"> Question: Wats gas 4 walter pee 5? *ehem* I mean, what's the kind of gas do I REQUIRE or should use for this ancient thing? Me tinks is dienosour gas. I've read about posts about gasses regarding specific gas pistols but I can't seem to find any answers about mine. I would really appreciate it if someone would answer my question that got my head boggling for weeks now. I've also read somewhere that these pistols are somewhat uncommon or rare. Or maybe legendary, I don't know. Can anyone please confirm? hehe Thanks in advance guys and a Happy New Year! *Walther P5 not for sale :P If you're interested, why not dm me at <AT>frozensnowee in Instagram and let's discuss regarding this ancient pistol. Maybe I'll think about it. :) Good bye, for now. Edit: Sadly, html doesn't work in the forums. I had no idea. Sorry not sorry. I won't remove it tho. Too lazy to.
Howdy All! I recently bought a Xin Da Yang, full metal PPK/S for a friend's upcoming birthday and would absolutely love to be able to include the custom suppressor/threaded outer barrel for it. Does anyone have one (with working hop-up and all that of course!) they would be willing to part with? I obviously don't need the gun, just the threaded barrel and suppressor in good condition. Also, I'm pretty sure the XDY PPK/S is just a clone of the Maruzen but, just to be sure, Maruzen's suppressor kit will still be compatible with it, right? Can anyone confirm/deny that? Finally, pictures are a must and I'm only willing to pay through Paypal for security reasons. Thank you!
