M4 ram paintball game

Recommended Posts

Hi guys!!!!

Just wanted to know if any of the paintballers in here, have played in a M4ram game before? Whats a M4ram you say? Its a paintball/airsoft hybrid gun, it looks like a airsoft replica and yet it shoots .43 cal paintballs. It also kicks out brass casings. I have been involved in them for about 2 years, don't get me wrong I LOVE airsoft but the rams are fun too!!!!

I've heard that they are pathetic excuses for... well, anything. I've read reviews that say that they're paintball guns that are about as useful as a cheap GBB pistol would be in a paintball game.

They are impractical.

I ususally value looks as much s performance, but the RAM's absolutely LACK any form of performance whatsoever.

First of all, the paint is too small to make a "legal" hit that will count, you have to get a pretty direct break with prolly more than 1 ball to get the "quarter-size" hit needed to call someone out.

Next, the barrels are .43-.45 cal, where as the paint is .40-.43, meaning it's a CRAPPY barrel/paint match = less acuracy less consistancy and more chopping.

On top of that, many, MANY organized paintball fields will not let you BYOP (Bring your own paint) therefor you cant even use this $800 gun at fields, because no feild I've been to sells .43 cal paint.

Not only that but the customer service for them sucks. A friend of mine blew a TON of cash on these, to buy a few of them to test. They all sucked. Some were jsut plain broken but none of them shot comparable to a standard .68x paintball gun.

I don't even play airsoft, but I'd rather have an airsoft gun or .68 cal paintball gun than the RAP-4 guns. They suck. The also only get about 260fps untill you crank up the velocity (wasting mroe air).

But if you wanna blow $800 on a gun that LOOKS and FUNCTIONS cool, feel free. don't get your hopes up on using it in a game though.
