I was Looking into buying a gun of theirs. As far as I know, its a company called FTC Falcon that makes it, and it is an AK-47/Type 56. The company that makes them are Based in japan that makes them. They are classics. Does anyone else have any information on them?

So, Should I buy it or no?

I know that FTC stands for Falcon Toy Co..

FTC (Falcon Toy Company): FTC produced a wide variety of guns, from the first airsoft replica of an AK47 to the one-of-a-kind airsoft Galil and SITES M4 Spectre SMG, among others. FTC guns are notorious for their overly complicated internals and the sheer rarity of magazines (many go for over $100 a piece!) They produced some models that no one else had done before or since, such as the Galil ARM and SAR, and the Spectre. ~Wikipedia

That's all I can really tell you, but I hope it helps. A more knowledgeable member should be along to help you some more...

The FTC AK-47 is a bit weird... they're extremely complicated, have some of the rarest magazines of any classics, and the AK-47 model has Japanese markings as opposed to Russian markings (Russki markings are present on the S-model). It uses the BV system and is blowback. It's mostly metal, the receiver is a strong, solid ABS.

That's all I can tell you, sorry.

If you're looking at getting into classics, I'd recommend something along the lines of an Escort MP5; uses AEG mags, simple internals, cheap to buy.

Pick one. The design of a BV unit blows forward and has no kick to it. So to have a BV BBU is an oxymoron. I'm not familiar with FTC AKs, but I'm guessing it runs off of a proprietary blow back system.

You can get blowback without it being linked directly to the firing mechanism, and anyone with any mechanical knowledge can turn forward movement into rearward movement. And I'm quoting the CA.org factsheet on it, so if you care to bring it up with bisonburger go ahead :D

I see the fact sheet. So it is a BV unit and Blowback, but you cannot simply change it from a forward moving mechanism to a rearward moving. What you can do, is direct gas from the main chamber to an entirely separate blowback mechanism, which is probably the case.

Do not buy these classics unless you are gonna hang hem on the wall or know alot about classics.

Reasons:

-Over complex BV system

-The sheer rarity of parts

-Magazines are consider collector piece and sometimes either half or worth more than he gun itself

-Extreme difficult takedown-lose a part; your done

The mags are the main reason why these are not skirmish able.
