Recommended Posts

Hi,

I want to buy aGBB M4 and mack it aDMR.

What best M4 can I buy(not THE best but good one)?

What upgrades I will need to buy?

Does this M4 have any problems? If yes, how can I fix it?

I want it to shot 500-550 FPS steady.

Please put here links, not from "airsoft GI" only EVIKE,EHOBBY ASIA,UNCompany, WGC SHOP or any other sit that sand parts to asia and Europe.

EDIT:

What you say about this GBB:

Now, what outer barrel I need and what other upgrad parts I need?

Do you recomend this GBB?

If not please recomend me other one.

Thanks in advance :)

Buy either a Bomber, or build from scratch a WA system M4.

Those are the only ones I would ever choose to make a DMR out of.

They are the most reliable/consistent/ECT

They are also the most expensive, but if you aren't willing to shell out the money you aren't going to get what you want.

woc-x is a good base IMHO. That is what I'm starting with. Fully upgradable. Key to more fps in a gbbr seems to be barrel length and barrel tightness. A custom edgi 5.98 id barrel shooting ONLY bioval bbs in maybe a 363mm length barrel would get you close to your goal. Adjustable NPAS would probably get you the rest of the way there. HPA air rig is not out of the question. In fact it may be necessary to get consistent FPS. Just keep the pressure down to GG levels.

Later, either as things break or as you have money, you can upgrade internals to stronger components for durability. check out gasguninfo. There is a thread over there that talks about the HPA rig in depth. he lists the qd self sealing fittings that are perfect for mag changes.

Ok if u want a DMR then honestly just like Tobi mentioned, building one from scratch using a WA based system is the best choice.

U could start with the WOC-X base but u will have to replace parts as u go if u want reliability at 550+ FPS.

I havent read too many reviews on the X series because there arent that many, but there are diff opinions.

Id personally recommend going with a regular WOC over the X but it all depends what ur looking to spend.

If u wanna start with a base and spend more money over time to build the rifle then the X isnt a bad choice considering its price isnt expensive.

But trust me u will want to replace alot of the internals with steel internals instead of the aluminum ones it comes with.

Plus another good reason to go with a G&P is that is uses the WA system and has TONS of parts available for it.

So it all comes down to would u rather spend more money up front for a WOC and get better internals or go with a WOC-X and upgrade the internals going forward.

+1

WOC is better if you can swing it

And the bomber is better than the WOC for 1 main reason.

It comes with a Prime receiver, best of the best, hands down makes WOCs eat dirt.

Initially going with the Bomber or building from scratch will cost more money, but if you buy a cheap base, by the time you are done the only parts left from the base gun will be little $5 parts.

If you go with the base and build on as you go, will will end up paying hundreds more for what you want.

This is coming from first hand experience.

Tobi is 100% right when it comes down to it.

It really all depends on how much ur looking to spend.

Going with a Bomber or building ur own from scratch is gonna run u 1k+

So if u have the money to invest then thats the way to go.

The only advantage to starting with a base weapon is the ability to have a rifle to use while upgrading it.

But ur gonna end up spending more money in the long run.

Yes the one u linked does have some WA upgrades to it.

Looking over the specs it does have a decent amount of steel internals in it which is good.

But I wouldnt recommend the medium barrel model for a DMR, they make a long barrel model as well but eHobby is sold out right now.

So if u do go with the medium model, then ull def need a longer inner and outer barrel if u want good range.

I cant really comment on the internals on the X series since ive never shot one or opened one up.

But somethings u might wanna consider for upgrades if u go with the model linked are.......

Longer outer barrel

Longer tight bore inner barrel

RA-Tech Steel BC

RA-Tech NPAS plastic Nozzle

LCT CNC Steel hammer w/bearing

LCT CNC Steel Sear

Those are just a few upgrades to mention that I would add to that particular rifle.

First of all, TNX

but you not helping me, can some one that want to help and have time put links for things I need to buy?

And another thing, the M4 in the link is upgraded, please chack the link.

Thanks in advance!!! :)

I could build a gun for you, but that's the problem, I'm building it(choosing the parts)

What makes it what you want is for you to build it.

If you want the best "base parts" for a DMR I can give them to you.

- Prime internal parts set http://www.boomarms.com/shop/item.cfm/id/P...T/curr_code/USD

- Any Prime Upper and lower receiver(example) http://www.boomarms.com/shop/item.cfm/id/P...3/curr_code/USD

- Prime BCG http://redwolfairsoft.com/redwolf/airsoft/...ms_M4_Black.htm

or -RA tech complete NPAS BCG http://shop.ehobbyasia.com/ra-tech-n-p-a-s...body-vltor.html

Everything else is purely up to you. Though I highly suggest these to go along with the necessities:

-(only if you don't get the Ra tech NPAS) http://shop.ehobbyasia.com/5ku-plastic-noz...-wa-m4-gbb.html

-(allows you to use AEG inner barrels) http://redwolfairsoft.com/redwolf/airsoft/...ner_Barrels.htm

Those are my recommendations, and are about the best thing you can get to build a good DMR.

Getting into the philosophy of DMR's. Your going to want a consistent fps first and foremost. Otherwise your just going to end up with a really high fps assault rifle. Since your using a gbbr. Which imo is the worst platform to build a dmr. Thats already a strike against you. An HPA setup is a must I feel for any gbbr dmr.
