...to keep people from cheating and or reading the answers before they complete the test, I have attached the answer / explanation sheet as an attachment. This way, you have to click the link instead of just reading the results without taking the test. and Once you complete the above test, click the download link / attachment below to view the results and their meanings. Very soon, I plan to put up an automated system to provide results immediately without allowing people to view the answers before taking the test so that your test is not skewed.

If you view the results / explanations before taking the test, you will not get accurate results and will most likely score what you "want to be" instead of what you "really are". So for integrity's sake, take the test before viewing the download link . I am going to convert this test to a survey or an autoresponder (not sure yet, but for now, just be honest) :-)

Once you know what your personality type is, feel free to update your profile to let others know what kind of a person you are. This test really does work if you're honest and the results are amazing.

feel free to add your score to your profile or feel free to keep it private if you wish - either way is fine. I thought this test was pretty interesting and thought you guys would like it too. I scored a "7,7,2,8" (check the score sheet attached to first post above to understand what that means)

in other words, my score was:

A=7

B=7

C=2

D=8

enjoy :a-salute:

yeah, I'm trying to edit the profile settings now... click the download attachment above in the first post to figure out your score for now. by the way Arrowana, your score means your personality type is mostly "melancholy" followed very closely by "phlegmatic".

The translation of my score (7,7,2,8) = mostly melancholy (8), followed very closely by both choleric (7) and sanguine (7). to see what this means, you have to read the attached score card in the first post.

But again, make sure you take the test before viewing the results / explanation page so that your test is as accurate as possible. If you cheat, your results will mostly reflect what you "think you should be" or what "you want to be" instead of what you actually are. There are no right or wrong scores. so refrain from viewing the score sheet until you've actually taken the test and wrote your answers down honestly

be sure to separate your numbers with commas so that they can be deciphered...

such as 7,7,2,8

or like this:

"I got 2 for A, 2 for B, 10 for C, and 11 for D"

or like this:

A=7

B=7

C=2

D=8

otherwise, they wont really make sense to anyone else.

Well, I wasn't going to post the score sheet / explanations here in a post because I didn't want people to see this prior to actually taking the test. However, the attached file isn't as easy to read as it is here in a post.

WARNING:

Do not read this post UNTIL AFTER you have taken the above test or else your results will be skewed. In other words, if you read and understand these results prior to taking the above test, your results will reflect more of what you want to be or what you think you are than what you actually are - so do not read THIS post until after you have take the above test.

<< EXPLANATIONS >>

Whichever letter that you have the most of corresponds to the correct personality type as listed and explained below.

A = Choleric

B = Sanguine

C = Phlegmatic

but the highest number indicates your basic temperament.

Choleric - Powerful: (Dominant, Director, Sherman Tank)

What you want is:

Control

What you need is:

Obedience, Appreciation, Acknowledgment

Your strengths are:

You tend to be bossy and impatient

You believe no one can do the job good enough or fast enough

You can be insensitive to other's feelings and needs

What you like is:

What you dislike is:

People who are lazy - meaning they don't work as hard or as long as you do

People who question your authority

People who are not loyal - to your definition of loyalty

Depression hits when:

You sense things are out of your control

When people don't do things your way

You get ready to fight or flee when:

When you sense you are beginning to lose control of anything (job, health, projects, children, etc)

When people don't support (or rebel against) your ideas

When stress hits:

You become even more controlling

You work harder or exercise more

When all else fails, you get rid of the offender (anyone who is not doing it your way)

You tend to marry, appreciate or enjoy being around:

Phlegmatic / Peacefuls or Melancholy / Perfects because they tend to obey quietly and do things your way but you object to their lack of excitement over your projects. Phlegmatic / Peacefuls have a tendency to resist because you don't create a peaceful environment.

Melancholy / Perfects will generally argue with your methods because you aren't doing something right

................................................................................

.....................................................................

Sanguine - Popular: (Influencer, Socializer, Exploder)

What you want is:

Fun. If its not fun, why not?

What you need is:

For people to think you're wonderful.

You need attention, affection, approval and acceptance.

Your strengths are:

You can talk about anything, at any time and for any length of time with or without prior information.

You have a bubbly personality and abundance of optimism.

You have a great sense of humor and you can relieve tension if things get too serious.

People who generally show approval of you as a person.

What you dislike is:

People who are too critical.

People who major on details which you think are minor.

People who throw cold water on your ideas too quickly.

Depression hits when:

Life isn't fun and no one thinks you are wonderful.

You get ready to fight or flee when:

You are bored and feel like you're becoming unpopular.

You are tied to a clock.

You have to keep money records.

Someone disagrees with you.

When stress hits:

You leave the scene and change the environment (visit friends, go shopping, go for a ride, etc).

You tend to blame others for what happens and create excuses.

You tend to marry, appreciate or enjoy being around:

Phlegmatic / Peacefuls or Melancholy / Perfects because you are attracted to their sensitive and serious nature which balances you. However, you don't want to cheer them up all the time and they can make you feel stupid.

................................................................................

.....................................................................

Phlegmatic - Peaceful: (Steady, Relator, Indecisive, Staller)

Your strengths are:

You are a balanced person with even moods.

You have very few or no compulsive / addictive behaviors.

You use a dry sense of humor as a defense shield.

Your weaknesses are:

You lack decisiveness and enthusiasm.

When you feel you've accommodated too much your backbone turns into a steel rod and you suddenly show a hidden will of iron that says, "That's far enough, I will not move."

What you like is:

People who will make decisions (however, you want to be consulted, not just told what to do. Others can make the final decision as long as you've been included in the process).

People who recognize your strengths and will not ignore or use you.

What you dislike is:

People who are too pushy and expect too much of you (meaning they expect you to carry more than what you feel is your fair share of the load)

Depression hits when:

There is too much conflict around you.

When you have to confront someone.

When no one wants to help you and too much of the responsibility falls on you.

You get ready to fight or flee when:

You have to handle a major person problem by yourself.

You feel you are left holding the bag in a situation.

You have to make a major change. (because change = conflict no matter how beneficial the change)

When stress hits:

You give in to others; or hide from stress by watching TV or reading a book.

You tend to marry, appreciate or enjoy being around:

Choleric / Powerfuls and Sanguine / Populars because you are attracted to their strengths and decisiveness but you get tired of being pushed around all the time and being looked down on plus, they are not good at creating a consistently peaceful environment.

You have high ideals and standards.

Your weaknesses are:

You tend to spend too much time analyzing and preparing. (you want to do it right)

You remember the negatives and are suspicious of other's motives.

You are easily depressed.

What you like is:

People who take life seriously and can think intelligently.

People who carry on a deep and sensible conversation.

What you dislike is:

People who aren't serious enough, who are disorganized and forgetful.

People who don't care about details.

People who are unpredictable.

People who exaggerate.

Depression hits when:

Your life is not orderly and you can't meet your standards - and what's worse, no one around you cares about meeting them either!

When you feel you have been told you have done something wrong.

You get ready to fight or flee when:

You feel you are making a mistake.

You are asked to compromise your standards.

No one around you understands how you really feel.

When stress hits:

You withdraw - turtle in - get lost in a book or go to sleep.

You go over and over the problem in your mind again and again.

You just give up

You tend to marry, appreciate or enjoy being around:

Sanguine / Populars because you like their personalities and social skills; However, you try to shut them up and get them on a schedule. This produces depression because they don't respond.

My score is:

A=11

B=0

C=7

D=6

At first I thought A and D should be switched since I have a tendancy to over-analyze things, but when I thought about it more, this is pretty much spot on. Neat test, where'd you find it?

A=11

Dude, nice test, it got my personality pinpointed spot-on.

You are easily depressed.

What you like is

People who take life seriously and can think intelligently.

People who carry on a deep and sensible conversation.

What you dislike is

People who aren't serious enough, who are disorganized and forgetful.

People who don't care about details.

People who are unpredictable.

People who exaggerate.

Depression hits when

Your life is not orderly and you can't meet your standards - and what's worse, no one around you cares about meeting them either!

When you feel you have been told you have done something wrong.

You get ready to fight or flee when

You feel you are making a mistake.

You are asked to compromise your standards.

No one around you understands how you really feel.

When stress hits

You withdraw - turtle in - get lost in a book or go to sleep.

You go over and over the problem in your mind again and again.

You just give up

You tend to marry, appreciate or enjoy being around

Interesting test, I did like it :)

I however, don't think tests like this are ALWAYS accurate or even come close to one's personality. I understand it's just a fun thing but some of it

was accurate, but at the same time, nah. You see, I don't really let things like this tell me who I am because I know who I am in Christ.

But hey! It's cool!

I'm a Phlegmatic I guess :cool:
