Been awhile

Recommended Posts

So im back now, its been awhile since ive posted on here. I havent been working on my tanaka for a while because of school/work/ new gun (masada). But lately ive been playing and its pissing me off how my AEG is just out of range of my target, so now Im determined to get my gun fixed. My trigger system is broken and im afraid to take it apart in fear that things will go flying everywhere, so I am taking it to Evike to get it fixed. My newest concern is that I still havent ordered my barrel. Im running the VSR conversion so I pretty much need a 650mm VSR cut EdGI barrel. My quick question is......what exactly is the difference in a regular tanaka barrel and a vsr cut? As some of you may remember, im running the G&G heavy barrel so the inner barrel fits snug and tight within the think outer barrel, so if a VSR cut barrel has a larger outer diameter than a normal stock one...im kinda screwed.

Bit of an old post but a vsr cut barrel is vsr

and a tanaka is tanaka.

If you're concerned about the outer barrel diameter, just use a caliper preferably or ruler if you don't have one and measure the inner diameter of your heavy barrel. Subtract a few mm and then you can contact edgi and he'll make you a custom barrel.
