HPA

Recommended Posts

Hey guys,

Just recently bought a Sun Project, and while I have six Co2 tanks, I'd much rather only use those as back ups. I was thinking of an HPA tank, something like 45/4500 tank (Maybe 68/4500) or two smaller ones, depending on what's cheaper.

For those of you who have run SPs (And others who have run classics, or are avid paintballers), what types of tanks would you suggest?

I do live up here in Maine, where it can get particularly chilly. What I was more concerned about was accidentally feeding liquid Co2 into my gun and having it die/explode/freezetodeath. I'll still run Co2 for a while until I can get an HPA tank, but it was more just so I know what I need in the future.

Just run co2, worst thing that happens is your fps and pressure drop off and the liquid freeze destroys your o-rings. All of which you can order simple 5 second replacements from mccmaster carr in big bags of 100. Check classic under escorts/sp xm177 and it should have a nice number list for all of your guns o rings.
