Opinions on PDI Hop-Up and trigger help

Recommended Posts

I currently own a UTG L96 in the middle of the upgrade process and I need some feedback. If you own a PDI Hop-Up for a type 96 could you give me an idea on how much consistency and range really increased with the addition of the part to your gun? I would like to have some reassurance before spending 70 dollars on it.

Also...I have been searching for an alternative to a Zero trigger. Is there any other metal triggerbox that would accept an m150 spring that's possibly under 100 dollars? After researching it a little I read about some "King Arms Light Trigger." Does this even exsist? Because I can't find it anywhere...

Aprecciate the help.

well, I don't own my mk96 anymore, but when I did, I had a PDI 6.01 and a PDI hop up. the accuracy on that increased so much its not even describable. First off, the the PDI chamber has 2 hop up arms that are right next to each other. Which means you can adjust not only up and down, but also left and right. This means you can adjust your hop up with extreme precision. I definitely recommend the PDI hop up unit. its probably one of the best hop ups out there. as for the trigger, the king arms trigger did exist, but its probably discontinued. its been out of stock for a LONG time. so you will need a Zero/v-trigger. the V-trigger is on PDI's website and they cost about the same. The only advantage the v-trigger has over the z-trigger is that there is replacement parts.
