ASR Spring question

Recommended Posts

can I put a m170 spring in my asr? It has the upgrade kit in it right not so the piston and spring guide are metal. Also I have the PDI Hopup and Madbull TBB so I'm not doing this purely for range, I have done other stuff to it.

That would depend mostly on your sears and piston I believe. You said you had an aftermarket piston, which I assume is metal (should do the job), now all you gotta do is upgrade your sears to something that can handle the big m170. Stock sears (almost always) cant handle a big spring like that for long.
