Gas Blowback Shotgun

Recommended Posts

I woudl get the Trishot

stay away from the crappy clones because the metal near the pump breaks so fast! I don't understand how they could possibly sell something so cheaply made...

the trishot is nice, but also stay away from the adjustable stock one, like what we have in this video:

because the stock gets really wobbly and you need a super duper long screw driver to screw it in.. like a foot long just to reach the screw inside the metal pipe..

Same thought here, just get a tri-shot from DE/UTG/Bravo/TSD. Make sure it's actually a tri-shot, and not one of the single-shots that looks just like a tri-shot.

They're the most cost-effective and you'll get great performance and quality out of what you're paying for. They're mostly plastic, just like the TM counterparts, so there is no heavy weight to deal with. There's several versions available, I recommend the M3 with short barrel and stock or pistol grip, or the M1014. Do keep in mind the retractable stock of the M1014 can loosen over time and as mentioned you would need a very, very hex screwdriver.

Definitely get extra shells, and definitely think about something to hold extra shells with. That can be anything from a bandolier to a stock sleeve to MOLLE/belt pouches.

Yes, an ACM M500 is much more powerful than those tri-shot shotguns, but they're also in the realm of gas guns. There's those arms to replace, maintenance to do regarding valves/seals, and there's numerous other parts than can break or fail, notably the fake bolt plate and the loading lever stick.

For someone just getting into shotguns, it's more practical to try out a tri-shot instead. Get an M500 when you wanna get serious. Get a Marushin M500 if you want decency.
