CYMA AKMs/AK47s... What's the internal difference?

Recommended Posts

Allright, folks. I am looking to purchase a new AKM. I have quite a few to choose from: CYMA CM036, CYMA CM036A (036 with wood), CM042, CM046 and CM048M.

My FIRST question is this: which of these has the best (as in most reinforced) gearbox and which has the highest torque motor.

My SECOND question is this: which of these has the best (sturdiest, strongest), BODY AND OUTER BARREL.

THANK YOU

D

wood looks horrible though... but that's nothing a new refinish couldn't fix.

I think it looks worse on the CM.036A and CM.042, since those ones look so red.

My 048 stripped a gear after thousands of rounds and had fun replacing it. I continue to torture test it and it just keeps running. Great job, Cyma!

ive noticed the gears in cymas are a sort of grey and not as durable as xyt's in other clones. the metal seems softer. ive seen a lof of shiny tooth wear on my cyma gears where other clones xyt's show no wear
