Interesting. It would appear to be a fine option on a PC cummerbund set up to draw forward as opposed to a vertical draw at the 3 or 9 o clock position.

 

Have you found the reload to be better in the way you set it up in the pics as opposed to having the usual "pull up" arrangement?

Even knowing how awesome tacos are I'd still feel uncomfortable running like this myself, I just feel like I'd want some kind of secure retention over the top of the mag if it were sideways like that in case my elbow bumped the bottom. I think SecondWind is onto something with the forward draw although the other magazines could interfere with that.

 

If I had a really low profile pouch (a single perhaps) it might go well high up under the arm, if it sits close enough it won't be in the way and the other hand cross the chest. Then again that probably goes right up there with my upside-down shoulder strap magazine pouch idea on the list of "cool sounding but probably very impractical" ideas.

ALICE gear.... that's all you need. Plus you can fit almost any mag in the pouches with out it looking stupid.
