Which Gun? Krytac? G&P? KWA?

Recommended Posts

Hi guys, so ive really gotten into airsoft lately, but don't have my own gun. We play mostly in big fields, large wooded areas, gravel pits, no regulations of any sort, but I cant decide which gun to choose, my budget is around 400

Im really looking into the Krytac Trident SPR for $345, but was wondering if I could do anything cheaper and still have the performance, I NEED THE BEST ACCURACY AS POSSIBLE but also need great range, FPS is also a big key, any suggestion will help. THANKS!

krytac all the way. in airsoft, you wont get accuracy without a flat hop or good barrel., so buy a Prometheus flat hop bucking, fps does not increase range per se, but it does increase the time the bb gets where you want it to go. just buy a krytac. one of the best guns I have used in my life. BUT IF YOURE JUST GETTING INTO AIRSOFT, id HIGHLY recommend against it. get yourself a nice beginner gun. such as cyma, dboys, agm is okay, jg is alright, or G&G. never buy a top of the line gun right when you start because you eventually will run into problems. and since you don't really know how to get into gearboxes and repair them, get a nice beginner gun that will last you about 3 years, g&g make nice m4's. cyma makes great AK's, kwa, kytac, have more proprietary parts than a mustang gtr does. but if you want rps, fps, range, g&p is the way to go.

I think a Krytac is kind of nice too, and it takes most upgrades.

What's so proprietary about it? I know it's got the ambidextrous selector setup and it has its own quick change spring guide, but other than that most of it is standard V2/M4.

Is 400.00 your total budget? If it is...I would get something cheaper.

You also need spare mags, a rig, hydration, GOOD batteries and Chargers and to shoot good bbs.

FPS is not all that.

I do more damage to the opposing team shooting .28g at 320 over a kid from the other side trying to hammer me with .20gs at 400fps.

No, standard gear set type. The factory spur gear comes with a tension spring but otherwise the gearbox can use regular gear sets. The other parts are pretty standard too, like piston, spring, cylinder head, air nozzle trigger, etc...
