Noobie needs your expertise choosing an M4

Recommended Posts

I've played airsoft once and I'm absolutely hooked. I pretty much think about it 24/7. So I requested a "license" here in the Netherlands and now I'm looking for a good M4. M4 seems to be nice for CQB, but also usable for the occasional outside adventure. Plus loads of people use it and could help me out a little when I run into a wall. I've selected 4 replicas I'm interested in, but I don't know nearly enough to choose the "best" one.

CYMA CM005

Specna SA-V19 http://gunfire.pl/product-eng-1152211475-SA-V19-Carbine-replica.html
G&G GC16 300 BOT http://gunfire.pl/product-eng-1152210549-GC16-300-BOT-Assault-Rifle-Replica.html
G&G CM16 Raider-L https://www.unit13shop.eu/index.php?item=g_g-cm16-raider-l-black_-upgraded&action=article&group_id=20000035&aid=16517

G&G seems very reliable, but CYMA en Specna are all metal (I believe). The CM16 Raider has a Mosfet thingy, which I suppose is a good thing. Hope someone can point this noobie in the right direction. And if I overlooked an even better option, please let me know!

Well, G&G is said to be the perfect beginner gun, or so I've heard. The Raider-L is pretty big for a CQB gun in my opinion, so if you want G&G I would go with the GC16. But if you think that the GC16 may be too small(I would go a little bigger if it's a large arena), I would go with the Specna. I'm a little late, but I felt bad nobody else had replied. :P The mosfet isn't too big of a concern for your first gun, so don't make your decision entirely on that. Hope you have fun with your new gun! I wish I had your budget when I first started out!

go ask airborne or guges about that, and also its just a well known fact that aks are just better deals in terms of parts quality for price. Nothing is gonna last you very long and be under 140 dollars, If he wanted to spend over 150$ he could just get some other high end ar if he wanted to but he wants a starter gun and my point is there are no 100 dollar solutions that are m4s but there are good aks in that range.

hah no, lct is paying for something you could get in a cyma. And by "go ask airborne or guges about that" I meant that in a post about repairs he said that when he did(or still does) tech work he stated that he worked on G&G combat machines very often as they had bad internals quite often, so I'd reconsider just telling people what you heard from friends and just start doing some legitimate research on your aegs, maybe look at some reviews and compare.

he lost with jimbibblo though, was pretty entertaining watching him get swamped with paragraph upon paragraphs of facts as he just gave up and left. The human mind is not a reasonable mind so I wouldn't blame him for giving up convincing someone, sure jim was a novice but he knew quite a bit for a noob
