is my go pro safe

Recommended Posts

If you're asking if your GoPro is safe in the case that it comes with, then yes. As long as you aren't just letting the camera itself get hit, using the clear shell case that your GoPro comes with is perfectly fine. However, the part of the case that covers the actual GoPro lens is tempered glass. It might crack if hit with an extremely high FPS bb. The cases aren't the most expensive things in the world though, so you can always replace them!

Its not that simplistic.

The object that is being shot at you can also scratch the lens at a lower FPS. The New Stainless Steel powder bbs are a nasty bunch of rounds that are heavy weight and thus they move at a slower fps. However...they will do far more damage over a high fps .20g PLA bb.

We'll getting better in the details area but the 200 to 400FPS range will result in an answer of most likely not to maybe yes.

Oh and hey...look what I found by Googling.
