I bought a CYMA CM052A awhile back, and the first game I brought it to it broke down. It'd fire the few first rounds off perfectly, but a dozen shots the range was cut in half. By 20-25, nothing was coming out, but it was still firing. I'm not sure if it's a problem with my magazines, (because I have 2 cheaper hi-caps,) or if it's an internal problem. It could be something with the hop-up, but I don't remember adjusting it to where it'd block shots. Any help is appreciated.

CYMA had a bad batch of hop-up packings go through their company last year. If your AEG is that old (not that you can tell with an untrained eye)...it is may be your issue Replace the packing with a good after market unit and your issues should go away.

Sounds like the magazine's problem. As far as I know the CYMA CM052A does comes with a 800rds wind-up magazine. like you said after you shot some amount of bbs it keeps firing. which may cause of your mag not fully wind-up or too less bb you fill in the mag. there are thousands reason cause your gun not working well, I suggest you start checking with the part didnt cost any.
