Help! CM16 Carbine whole outer barrel just fell out!

Title says what's happening. Basically, the whole outer barrel of the gun just fell out. I have been trying to get it back in but I cant. Any help is appreciated!

I'm not intimately familiar with the Combat Machine front end assembly, so I'm afraid I won't be much help there.

 

For what it's worth, though...

 

My local field uses Combat Machines as rental guns. Nary a weekend goes by without someone experiencing the exact issue you're describing. I doubt it's a show-stopping issue, barring any damage done to the inner barrel.

Yeah, the whole gun works fine, but it just looks ugly because there is a pipe practically sticking out of an AR.

Does g&g still make those multi section outer barrels with the grub screws? If so that's probably what's going on here. I doubt it came apart at the upper reciever. If so that's more involved to put back on.
