Soviet, why is rat's gun in there too?

By the way, BLACK electrical tape would look a little nicer than duct tape. I'm not trying to sound mean, just a suggestion.

Thanks :a-grin: I have to agree, it is definitely a nice looking rifle. The guy I bought it off of did a nice job with it. Now my job is just to make it better :a-thumbsup:

I intend on purchasing a few new internal parts (piston, cylinder head, and been thinking about some intense barrel spacers). I also plan on putting a longer suppressor on it. The stub just makes me giggle every time I see it. I'm also getting an avery sling from Cabela's and a star S-lap laser to put on a set of rail scope rings I'm getting. (mostly for looks) I can't wait until its all finished. **Hoping** to have it up by next week.

Ok heres a few Pictures of my stock UTG M324 (soon to be upgraded).

The only reason I bother wasting your time with it is my DIY digital paint job (my first camo paint job ever!)

Yeah, the blacks are really messed up but thats because those were the first shapes I made before I had the hang of it. I figure It's not worth it to go back and redo the whole thing just for the blacks. (not to be racist...)

That looks awesome. Only thing I would change is the scope. I do realize that you are preserving the numbers/measurements, but if you could tighten the gaps a bit more then it would be perfect.

ACM004, what you can do is give the gun a nice "mist" of OD paint. It will make the numbers still visible and still give it a nice look.

Edit: Newest paintjob

Tanaka m40a1 pre-ban, custom vietnam to modern USMC paint job, hooked up to HPA rig (in backpack), with m3 replica scope, and ghillie jacket.

You know, it's funny. The idea of a hose connecting your gun to a tank detracts people from trying HPA rigs... I played all day today and not once did the hose create a problem for me. After a couple minutes of use I didn't even notice it was there. It didn't even snag on anything. The tank wasn't hefty, as it was kept in a backpack with other supplies like ammo and water. It was actually really, really practical.
